The residents of Sagamore Hill are justly proud of the beauty of their neighborhood. The neighborhood is full of mature trees and landscapes that give a certain elegance to each home. As a community, the residents work together to maintain common areas through the Sagamore Hills Civic Association beautification committee providing funds for planting and maintenance at the entrances to the subdivision as well as the planting of both under-story and specimen trees throughout the community with assistance for Trees Atlanta.
The Sagamore Hills Civic Association employees a landscaper to take care of most of the planting and routine maintenance, but neighbors often gather for a “work day” to clean up neglected areas.
The community is aware of and adheres to the zoning regulations regarding maintenance and use of property.
During the past few years, under the direction of the Beautification Committee of the Sagamore Hills Civic Association, columns identifying the subdivision have been placed at each of the 10 entrances and the areas have been planted with shrubs and annuals. The committee is currently working on long range plans for these areas. The sign-toppers sitting on each of the street signs identify the community and were another recent project of this committee.
Membership on the beautification committee is open to all residents. For further information, contact the beautification committee chair from the contact list on this site.
